Half of all mental health disorders in adulthood start by age 18, but most cases are undetected and untreated. As Digital Peer Educators, we're simplifying complex mental health terms for your understanding.

As Digital Peer Educators, we seek to change the narrative about mental health. While many people see mental health support as weakness; we believe this is crucial in building a healthy and safe world.

I'm thrilled to share that I have been selected for the Digital Peer Educator(DPE) Program by City Safe Space.
This is not just an opportunity for me to learn, but also to contribute to youth health and social impact in Nigeria.

Good evening distinguished NARDITES!
The National Officersโ Committee (NOC) of the Nigerian Association of Resident Doctors (NARD), ably led by our dynamic President, Dr. Mohammad Usman Suleiman, the Extended NOC, NEC members, and the Crown Prince of NARD, joyfully announce that the 9-month worth of arrears owed to our House Officers have been paid fully alongside their September salaries.
You will recall that among NARDโs key demands to the Federal Government was the immediate inclusion of Medical and Dental House Officers in the civil service scheme, regularization of their payments, and issuance of pay slips among other welfare concerns. Just last month, their salaries were adjusted to reflect what they are entitled to according to the CONMESS Circular; and today, we celebrate the payment of their long-awaited arrears paid to all House Officers including those that have finished their postings, this is indeed a victory for our collective struggle.
This achievement reflects the power of unity, persistence, and purposeful leadership;a testament to what we can achieve together. Indeed, our House Officers across Federal Health Institutions now have renewed confidence in NARDโs leadership.
The NARD President, Dr. Mohammad Usman Suleiman, extends deep appreciation to the NMA President, Prof. Bala Audu, for his steadfast support and tireless advocacy for all NARDITES. The NARD President equally acknowledges the effort of the immediate past NARD NOC, led by Dr. Osundara Zenith Tope, for laying a solid foundation for this success.
As we celebrate this win, the current NOC encourages all House Officers to remain diligent, focused, and committed to duty, and to freely reach out to the NARD leadership whenever the need arises.
๐ UP NEXT: Payment of 25/35% CONMESS and Accoutrement Allowance arrears โ Stay tuned, stay hopeful!

Over the past nine months, I've had the privilege of collaborating with over 30 changemakers nationwide to promote social media awareness and advocacy for HIV/AIDS through the Youth Leading HIV Awareness Campaign (YOLHAC).
As I conclude my time in this program, I'm reminded that the lessons learned and experiences gained are truly invaluable. I'm excited to leverage these insights to amplify youth voices in HIV awareness and advocate for the well-being of those living with HIV in future endeavors.
