On Sunday, 4 October 2026, @Duhamic1 members and the Senior Management Team concluded a productive retreat in Musanze District.

The retreat provided an opportunity to review and reflect on the organisation’s strategic direction and the achievements registered under the current Strategic Plan (2023–2027), as well as to discuss various policies and procedures.

As part of the retreat, team members also had the opportunity to experience the rich social and cultural heritage of Bigogwe, particularly its renowned cattle-keeping culture, hosted by @Ngabo_Karegeya.

Today, DUHAMIC-ADRI welcomed the delegation from TROCAIRE led by Conor Kelly (Livelihoods & Sustainable Agriculture Global Advisor) and Paul Mwangi (Climate Resilience & Food Sovereignty Advisor) as part of the Green Market Systems Development technical support mission to Rwanda.

The team also visited SOSOMA Industries Ltd, a social enterprise driving market systems development, to exchange insights on livelihoods, market linkages, achievements, challenges and opportunities to strengthen future interventions through technical collaboration.

Successful tomato production is turning agriculture into a source of job opportunities and income for young farmers, creating new confidence to grow.

Through the #SHORANEZA Project, access to irrigation equipment enabled young farmers in @RuhangoDistrict and @NyanzaDistrict to produce during Season C 2026, create employment opportunities, increase productivity and income, and plan to expand their cultivated land in the seasons ahead.

The Project is implemented by @WFP_Rwanda_CD in collaboration with @Duhamic1, with support from @MastercardFdn.

DUHAMIC-ADRI in partnership with TROCAIRE distributed water filters to 488 families in Ngororero and Gisagara Districts whose homes were retrofitted under the CJC Project.

The water filters will help improve access to safe and clean drinking water, reduce the risk of waterborne diseases, and promote better household health and well-being for vulnerable families

🌱A successful harvest, a new season of opportunity!

Refugees and host communities, participants of Climate Smart Agriculture Project #CSAProject around Nyabicwamba Marshland are celebrating a successful fresh beans harvest.

The pilot phase has demonstrated that Agriculture Season C is well adapted to the marshland, thanks to irrigation system established that enabling farmers to produce beyond the traditional seasons.

In @rulindodistrict , Cyungo Sector, the #KUNGAHARA Project successfully organized a nutrition awareness campaign that brought together more than 4,000 community members.

The event held on Friday, 14th August 2026, featured an inter-Cell football competition and entertained by renowned Rwandan artist Eric Senderi International Hit, creating an engaging platform to reinforce key messages on good nutrition, hygiene, and sanitation practices to prevent stunting and other forms of malnutrition.

Child stunting in @GakenkeDistrict has decreased from 39% to 26%, according to the Mayor of @Gakenke District, Mukandayisenga Vestine @muka_vestine.

She highlighted the contribution of the #KUNGAHARA Project to this achievement during the nutrition campaign held in Kamubuga Sector, bringing together 800 community members and partners to promote good nutrition and healthy practices for young children.

Participants also enjoyed the entertainment performance by the Celebrity Artist Eric Senderi, adding an entertaining touch to the campaign.

It was a great moment with the community of @GakenkeDistrict in Cyabingo Sector during a nutrition campaign organized by the #KUNGAHARA Project.

The campaign brought together community members who enjoyed nutrition messages accompanied by music from Senderi International Hit.

The campaign called the community to actions regarding nutrition, sanitation practices to prevent stunting and other forms of malnutrition.
