"May those who love us love us. And those that don't love us, may God turn their hearts. And if He cannot turn their hearts, may he twist their ankles, so we'll know them by their limping".
AMEN!!
May those who love us, love us;
And for those who don't love us,
May God turn their hearts;
And if He doesn't turn their hearts,
May He turn their ankles,
So we will know them by their limping.
AMEN!
@Citi973 King Tackie Teiko Tsuru I in 1782 banned gold mining in the Ga State — a bold move that continues to protect the land and people to this day. Congrats to the people of the Accra Region for upholding this legacy of integrity and environmental responsibility.
My full rebuttal to the falsehood peddled by Mr. Kofi Bentil on Key Points on @tv3_ghana this morning, to the effect that 85% of GoldBod’s gold purchases come from illegal mining sources (Galamsey).
*IMANI ALERT:* Forensic Review Exposes Gold-for-Oil Scandal
A new international forensic risk assessment of Ghana’s Gold-for-Oil (G4O) programme has revealed sweeping governance failures, fiscal leakages, and potential illicit financial flows.
In our latest Presser, IMANI and oversight partners demand:
🔸 A vessel-by-vessel, ounce-by-ounce forensic audit.
🔸 Recovery of lost revenues through retroactive tax assessments.
🔸 Prosecution of culpable officials and companies.
🔸 Mandatory publication of contracts, pricing benchmarks, and audits.
_“The Gold-for-Oil programme was systematically weaponised against the state. Ghana must now pursue uncompromising audits and prosecutions to recover billions.”_ — Franklin Cudjoe, IMANI Africa
With estimated losses of GHS 7.2 billion, opaque supplier selection, and missing audit trails, G4O has become a case study in how corruption hides behind political pageantry.

Soliloquy of a Judge
We all seem to be in an invisible queue towards an inevitable end so we don’t know who is next. First we thought it was the oldest, and the youngest left. Then we thought it was the sickest and the healthiest left.
We just never know whose turn it is in the queue and the basis for same.
Who is keeping us in the queue?
Why are we even in it?
But for life to exist, we just have to be somewhere in the queue. The irony of it.
