@asumasarutobi32@BurgerWater@tedcruz A drunk person may choose to drive and risk the lives of others. Does that me I should have to stay home because drunks are doing what they think is "appropriate. . ."? Hell no. There are consequences for drunk driving. Likewise, there should be for the selfish non-vaccinated
@andyspence101 We agree not to trust politicians. But I trust the scientists who developed the vaccines and the data that show that they are effective with few side effects.
@andyspence101 By "group of people" you mean politicians? Yeah I don't trust them either. When scientists come out with something different, it's because they have new data and they have altered their approaches based on evidence that can be repeated by other scientists.
@andyspence101 You are really dense. I don't trust people, I trust the method. Scientists publish their data. Other labs/scientists check on the data that are published. If it doesn't hold up, then the previous work is no longer considered valid. Science is self-correcting
@andyspence101@Stache2020@tedcruz I watched the video. Most quotes (highly edited so who knows what was actually said), were in early to mid 2020. The hesitancy was mostly directed at Trump/his admin. Cuomo said he would not trust the FDA. He's wrong. I trust the FDA because they rely on independent scientists.
@andyspence101 Your ignorance is putting you at a disadvantage. Let me keep it simple for you. Virologists work in labs. They and their students produce data which are published in peer-reviewed scientific journals. I read those papers. Now do you understand or is this still too complicated?
@andyspence101@Stache2020@tedcruz Wrong again. You must not have a good understanding of how science works. Nobody is giving me data. Those data are being generated by 100's if not 1000's of scientists, the vast majority of whom are honest and are increasing our understanding of the SARSCoV-2 virus.
@andyspence101@Stache2020@tedcruz Based on what you have said so far, I am really confident that I know more about vaccine side effects than you do. The data I am "seeing" is available to anyone who cares to examine the peer-reviewed articles.
@andyspence101@Stache2020@tedcruz Why are you waiting for people you apparently dislike to "renounce" previous statement before you "buy it". Why don't you examine the data and think for yourself?
@asumasarutobi32@tedcruz Even fully vaccinated folks with a booster can still get Covid-19 and especially among the elderly or those with co-morbidities, can get severe disease. So they are not "set".
@andyspence101@Stache2020@tedcruz PPE's were in short supply back in Feb. 2020. The thing about science is that it evolves as new data are evaluated. Sure, the initial message was not to wear masks. Now we have solid data that masks, if properly worn, make a difference. New data, new methods. Thank you science!
