Your re-election is a strong expression of the confidence the people of Zambia have placed in your leadership and vision for the country’s transformation.
Kenya looks forward to deepening our bilateral relations, expanding trade and investment, and advancing our shared interests.
Together, we will continue working for a more integrated and prosperous Africa, including under the African Continental Free Trade Area, which gives our continent a powerful platform to trade more with itself, create jobs and build African prosperity.
Today, together with the @NLC_Kenya Chairman, Dr. @Abdillahii Alawy, I had the honour of welcoming the General Secretary of the Presbyterian Church of East Africa, Rt. Rev. Dr. Robert Waihenya, and the Presbyterian Foundation Chairman, Elder Kenneth Ngotho, to the National Land Commission headquarters.
The Commission remains firmly committed to securing school and college lands, resolving disputes, fast-tracking ownership documents, and safeguarding these vital assets for current and future learners.
The meeting was also attended by our technical experts, including the Director of Land Administration and Management, Dr. @Sam_Nthuni; Director of Legal and Dispute Resolution, Brian Ikol; and Deputy Director of Valuation and Taxation, Jacob Kipaa.

Later this afternoon, alongside Commissioner, CHRP @kigen_vin, I appeared before the Parliamentary Departmental Committee on Trade, Industry and Cooperation, chaired by Hon. Marianne Kitany. Our discussions centered on the Kenya Economic Zones Bill, 2026 (National Assembly Bill No. 46 of 2026), a critical piece of legislation for the country's industrial future.
While the @NLC_Kenya fully supports the harmonization of Special Economic Zones (SEZA) and Export Processing Zones (EPZA), we were clear that the Bill must explicitly reflect the constitutional role of the National Land Commission. As the manager of public land on behalf of both national and county governments, the Commission must have its mandate clearly recognized to ensure legal and procedural compliance.
The committee agreed with our position, as we highlighted that the land held, used, and occupied by EPZA and SEZA is public land. Therefore, its management and administration must be undertaken in consultation with the NLC to uphold the principles of transparency and constitutional fidelity.
The session was also attended by our Director of Land Administration and Management, Dr. Samuel Nthuni, and Director of Legal and Dispute Resolution, Brian Ikol.

Excellent leadership, Hon @Kabale_arero, and the entire @NLC_Kenya team. Your commitment to dignified living, secure tenure, and inclusive land ownership demonstrates the kind of transformative leadership Kenya needs. May this partnership with KISIP deliver lasting benefits to communities living in informal settlements.
This afternoon, I had the privilege of joining our @NLC_Kenya Chairman, Dr. @Abdillahii Alawy, alongside Commissioners: CHRP @kigen_vin, Hon. @MarySeneta, FCPA @KhakasaSusan, @Hon_Tiya Galgalo, and Hon. Waziri Esther Murugi, as we hosted the Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Project (KISIP) team led by National Project Coordinator, George Arwa.
Our discussions centered on a crucial partnership aimed at transforming the lives of Kenyans living in informal settlements. By completing this life-changing project, our shared goal is to ensure these citizens are afforded dignified living conditions and security of tenure.
This mission aligns seamlessly with the vision of H.E. President Dr. @WilliamsRuto, who has consistently championed the empowerment of vulnerable Kenyans through the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda. As enabler of this agenda, the National Land Commission remains resolute in its mandate.
We are committed to working hand-in-hand with KISIP to break down the barriers to land ownership. By facilitating the ownership documents for these improved settlements, we are solidifying the foundation for economic empowerment and community pride.
The meeting was also attended by NLC Director of Land Administration and Management, Dr. Samuel Nthuni, and Deputy Director, Zachariah Ndege.

Marsabit is struggling while public funds are allegedly being dished out for political support. Hospitals lack medicine, projects are stalled and services are collapsing.

The Acting Chief Officer for Finance, marsabit appears more focused on advancing his own political ambitions than serving the people of Marsabit. He has no capacity to be in that office.

Public resources belong to the people of Marsabit county. They should fund services and development, not political ambitions. Godana Guyo Boru( Geofrey Godana) should be arrested for misusing public funds.

Marsabit is in crisis as public resources are being used to fund political handouts. The Acting Chief Officer for Finance is seen moving around with bags of public money, while we struggle to access essential services and vital services continue to decline.
