Let's talk about the elephant in the room. The same tools that ruined the Solana trenches can be easily ported/rebuilt to work on any other chain. Don't be fooled in thinking that bridging to BNB will change anything. Rapidlaunch and Uxento have already rolled out changes to incorporate up to multi-launches with bundles on BNB. It's only a matter of time before Axiom implements BNB and things truly get out of hand.
In order for any chain to survive, we need to make radical changes to how the environment operates as a whole. Being able to launch a coin 50x times with a click of a single button only incentivizes PvP and reduces the concept of "dev-ing a coin" to just mass deploying until something gains traction, and the massive amount of bundling/multi-walleting that is taking place prevents any coin, regardless of narrative, to just be decimated before even reaching migration. The irony behind 50x mass launching a "Sol is Dead" narrative coin every other day is unreal.
It's infuriating and we honestly did it to ourselves. We marketed "dev-ing" as the best means of learning the process of memecoin trading (or, in some circumstances, an alternative means of making money in this space) and it caused mass innovation to spam the market(s) and create methods of max extraction. It'll continue to be a cat-and-mouse game between developers creating new and sneakier ways to get maximum value out of every coin, and platforms/websites creating tools to detect/identify them and provide meaningful data to the trader.
To be clear, I'm not blaming or attacking FNFs, private groups/TGs, or insider/cabal groups (or any groups in particular) - but instead, I'm asking for a bit of a unification on the underlying point that there's something wrong here. There are plenty of people taking about it behind closed doors (or in VCs, however you want to word it) but no one is really talking about it.
That being said, I don't personally have a solution (yet)(soon™), but I believe getting everyone on the same page and vocalizing the issues is the first step. Anyone who has interacted with me knows that I am a strong advocate for educating and empowering the trenches. Hell, I'm creating a website/resource for users, new or old, to do as much, but if we don't preserve our space, and the new people coming to it, then we likely won't retain it for very much longer.
If what just happened on $TOGE isn't the perfect demonstration of why Solana is cooked...The amount of fuckery that these bundlers just did to this chart is unbelievable and I genuinely believe there's nothing that can be done about it. GG and I'll see you guys on BNB.
