@rickmccracken Is there not a temporary registration that could be done from CF with IP address verification? Then if there are duplicates after two weeks, there is a recourse avenue. Isn't this partly why the d parameter is around?

@LiberalMark@rickmccracken I'll give that paper a look. I was basing that statement off of an IBM quantum computer (I think 52 bits or so because one wasnt functioning properly) that supposedly had the capability of breaking AES 256. That is what the military uses and it made some people very concerned.

As quantum computers exponentially get faster, they will come into play. They are breaking AES already and will break SHA because quantum computers are predictive.
