@DylanFruchey Architecture wvolve over time and over the course of a specific movement, it eventually becomes something completely knew. I like the parent analogy for this phenomenon.

@KeithCarrasqui2 I suppose that in a sense, the post-modernist movement couldn’t exist without the modernist movement first so they are linked in that way at least. But to say it is still modern architecture defeats the point of classifying architecture in my opinion.

I feel like the same thing that happened in Detroit had happened all around the world on a smaller scale where fsctories that employed large percentages of small towns closed and left the town to crumble.
