43% of Israeli Jews identify as secular and 25% as non-religious traditionalists.
Every group is equal under law within non-occupied Israel.

@abd1rahman @llFenll @UkrainianAna @thesoypill But they're all different groups of Jews, there are Mizrahi Jews who are as brown as Palestinians, Ashkenazi Jews from Eastern Europe, Sephardic from Iberia, Beta Israeli from Ethiopia.
A lot of Jews are indigenous too, many were forced out by the Romans. Depends on line drawing.

@imcheech @allie__voss That's exaggerated, they're saying not to eat out as much, not never. I have a lot of friends at uni who struggle with money and they get expensive coffees literally every day and eat at cafés all the time.
I still go out for food with them, but I make sandwiches and cook a lot.

They're saying that 70% of the money on food is going to eating out of some kind, then wondering why everything is so expensive.

I still go out, but not nearly as much of my food money goes to eating out.

@EaterTar96865 @AngulusTerrarum @allie__voss Holy strawman, no one has to eat rice and beans for any amount of time, that's the cheapest possible meal, not the only cheap meal. Literally any meal is cheaper to cook multiple times than buy it ready-made or as takeout.
Buying a home isn't the best financial decision either.

@sealpenguin4 @NowhereTOR22 @allie__voss Not to mention that even in your own example, the median household income has rised almost in line with the cost of rent, which makes sense. Owning a home isn't always financially good anyway, you're getting it as a home, not an investment. Treating it like one is the problem.

Of course the cost of housing is tied to the cost of shelter and not the cost of a home. Owning a home isn't necessary to live, shelter is. Lots of people happily rent.
