A sea turtle nest excavation event is scheduled for tomorrow (8/7) at 10:30 am on Ocracoke Island.
The nest is located 0.3 miles north of the lifeguard stand at the Ocracoke Day Use Area. Visitors may park at the Day Use Area parking lot and walk over the boardwalk to the beach.
