@Dansgaming Halfway through Gone Home my save got corrupted.
Had just discovered some weird religious stuff in a closet, too.
Never went back, though. Games making me replay content is a hard pass.
We might finish #baldursgate3 for the first time today. I'm so excited.
Join us on twitch tv/hemakesmeplay_live at 4PM CET. We start with the Orin fight.
And yes, I will dress up as a Wizard.
@RPDeshaies Stars without Number, original edition. Just go easy on the space travel and stay in planetary cities if they love the cyberpunk angle.
Also, be careful. Playing TTRPGs with work colleagues can go south quickly.
If this happens, please be sure to post the drama.
@BlackDragonCan I think Dolmenwood is pretty cool.
It's like a historical medeival setting combined with a fairy tale vibe in a way that I haven't seen before. Everything's done with love and detail.
Even the eponymous dolmens are actual things with a meaning.
@JamesClear Cool post!
I would say check out 'In praise of Shadows'. That's an essay about japnese aesthetics from 1933. It convinced me that soup tastes different from a darker bowl.
Also the author hilariously rants against cars and traffic lights IIRC.
So halfway through Lorelei and the Laser Eyes you can discover this really soulful piano song. This was my favorite part of the game because it made me feel something.
Turns out the singer is @cellolinnea and she plays cello and it's great.

@LawDogStrikes It's a good question, but I think there are possible scenarios.
A noble adventurer might want a bard along in the dungeon to record their great deeds for propaganda purposes.
And sometimes, the Bard is just another fighter who happens to be better at music than fighting.
@Dansgaming Congratulations to overcoming your fear, and to your shiny, healthy teeth!
Also, in a world full of negativity, I really enjoy reading your posts, which are consistently about something positive. Thanks for noticing the good stuff when it happens.
New Episode 15: Water+
We talke about the closure of @Piranha_Bytes, retail simulator @CartLifegame and the #gamepass changes.
Also contains a spoiler discussion for Lorelei and the Laser Eyes by @simogo
Enjoy!

@mattcolville That explains a lot.
For Bad Lieutenant, Cage even worked with Werner Herzog, who had directed Kinski for a bunch of movies.
Now I really want a Woyzeck remake with Nicolas Cage.
@Gingerblast What a great setup!
Here's a possible twist: One of the statues is actually a mimic.
Another twist: The mimic is the original artist who came up with the art gallery trap as a performance piece.
@eric_lang I'm a blind person. My uses of AI are numerous and significant. Examples:
Being able to get a description of any image, and being able toa ask questions about it.
Transforming PDFs, tables, or twitter feed into an accessible format, or just ask the AI directly about it.
And yes, I know Nameless one isn't on the list, even though Harry is. The Top 5 is about main characters, not games, and Harry is much more interesting than TNO, even though Disco Elysium and Planescape:Torment are very similar games.
Top 5 RPG Main Characters of all time, according to how I feel right now.
1. Geralt of Rivia
2. Commander Sheperd
3. CHARNAME (BG1/2)
4. Harrier Du Bois
