speechless. I wish I had some great ideas on what to comment when your RPG idol starts playing your game. #indiedev#gamedev#RetroGaming https://t.co/usythE3K7y
Wishing a very happy birthday to a very special creator and person, Lord British aka @RichardGarriott. Hope each new year will bring you new adventures (Mars next??) and happiness!
33 years ago Ultima IV got released. Many thanks to @RichardGarriott for that jewel of a game. The way it taught me that virtue can be a purpose in itself was amazing.
@ISCResearch if by revolution you mean 38000 idiots propagating their delusional crap? Nazis, anti-vaxx, Corona-denying ... the remaining 80000000 laughed at them. That is the mildest response we can give them. In our democracy their delusions are allowed. But still laughed at!
@idomeroz1 speaking from Berlin: there were a significant amount of Nazis among the 38000 people at the demo. Their delusional view of the world unfortunately is what they have in common with the antivaxx and Corona-denying idiots.
@Amadea2 speaking from Berlin: there were 38000 there and every single one of them was an idiot. The remaining 80000000 Germans laugh about them, or in case of all the Nazis among them wish they would end up in jail soon.
Have you played the #indiegame@DungeonsofChaos?
Don't be fooled by its look: it's a great retro #RPG in #pixelart, well balanced and polished. The flavour of old without the rough edges!

@IntvPrime @SuminellStudios it never stopped ... followed the year after by a severe case of imposter syndrome when I met him in person at a conference.

@GreyAlien that implies that prices are based on cost. they are (unfortunately?) not. prices are based on demand and supply. And supply has gone BAM and crashed through the roof, sky and beyond. And restrictive demand is not really able to ever kick in because software copy cost is nil.
Superb read through the history of RPGs: https://t.co/Ns987gH4po. @RichardGarriott Have you read pages 24+25? "After removing
the arrow from my chest..." is a good way to describe how it feels to present important milestones of gaming to younger players and hear their thoughts.
@Vazcodgamer@Improbableio Documents like that are commercial in confidence. As outsiders we need to piece the puzzle together from@what they say and not say.
@nimazeighami@derElbi@Improbableio relying on 'verbal confirmation' in the corporate world is reason for dismissal. In particular if a letter says otherwise. I think Improbable knew what was coming but chose not to tell their customers. Unity may or may not have asked for too much, but this crisis is manufactured.
@nimazeighami@derElbi@Improbableio It is a matter of lying or not lying. Improbable statement: "Until the recent change, neither we nor Unity had reason to believe there was any issue". Unity states that they were informed of a licence breach 6 months ago IN WRITING. Someone lies. Let's see the letter is my view.
