Sydney Gongodyo Gyabi - a talented Rugby Cranes & Stanbic Black Pirates player, 27 years old, a son, brother, father & teammate brutally murdered by a mob. He was falsely accused of snatching a bag (CCTV shows the real thief escaped on a boda). He was beaten to death in broad daylight.
Signing this petition adds your voice demanding a public trial of his killers. It shows the DPP, Police, and Government that we refuse to accept mob “justice.” Every signature builds pressure for full accountability, transparency, and an end to this culture of impunity.👇

Everything you see is proudly made in Uganda! I have been to 10 African countries in the last 12 months. I see so much potential for her brand @modernliving256

I will fly you to Uganda so anyone based in Africa can apply.

Everything started on an empty plot, with just a few carpenters, a shed, Hadijja, Tamale and I....
Hadijja was handling clients, going from sites to sites. She would bust her ass trying to deliver good work to every client. She still does. If you can nail one thing in your business, just do that; be obsessed with your craft and your clients.
Tamale was overseeing the workshop. It wasn’t really a workshop; it was a shed with a few tables and drills. We didn’t have machines. That came much later. Humble beginnings? Yes, ssebo!
Today, @ModernLivingEA exists, and we wouldn’t have done it without our amazing team. I watch this video and feel emotional every single time.
Most of those young men and women were trained from scratch. This isn’t meant to be the “NGO part” of the post; we did it because we found it’s easier to set standards than to undo them.
And without the clients who trusted us with their homes and projects, we wouldn’t have been able to build this incredible team, drawn from all corners of Uganda.
Speaking for the whole team, I’ll say this:
Can we do better in certain areas? Yes.
Are we obsessed with building something meaningful in this space? 100%.
Are we laser focused on pushing the boundaries of what "Made in Uganda" means? 1000%
To all of you who follow @ModernLivingEA on this journey: thank you.
We’re excited about what the future holds, and we’re eternally grateful.
Merry Xmas!
Hadijja, Alex & Tamale
PS: Yes the page is still restricted. I wrote to X hundreds of time to have it fixed. @elonmusk can you help kindly at this point...
