One more assignment and I've finished my 1st year of my Social Work apprenticeship. It has been a huge 5 month learning curve, I'm proud that I took the leap and grateful for the help I've recieved along the way.

@leavernotleft @SWstudent78 I've started my social work apprenticeship. It's really scary, lots to get your head round and I feel like I don't belong but I've had lots of support from all my CEP to tell me I'm doing the right thing!

Be proud of your roots, be proud of your accent, your dialect, your swears and be proud of the fact that you mispronounce words you have only ever read in books cos you never heard anyone say them. You’re on your way to something brilliant. We need you!

@EmmaLewellBuck @educationgovuk @family_action So disappointing. Dynamic sustainable ideas are needed to make change. Unfortunately the government are not Dynamic and their plans are certainly not sustainable. A very sad situation when they're hungry for votes and not feeding the hungry.

🤞crossed for the education meeting today. Steph from @groundworkuk has worked wonders with our Care leavers, 1:1 nurturing & hand holding to pass exams and get into work. Our hard to reach young people have finally got a service.🤞for match funding.@karenbazell we need Steph!😃
