@paddypower what odds can you give that
“Inclement weather”
or
“Trump has fallen asleep “
will be trending on X before the group games have ended?
If it’s near even money I’ll lump on 🥱👍
Politics , refusing international fans, searching players and staff of international teams , refusing entry to referees and back room staff , then the weather to just put icing on the cake..this World Cup should be the death of FIFA and its corruption 🤬
🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: The Swiss Football Association have complained about venomous snakes near the national team's camp for the World Cup.
The Association themselves have been searching in the past few hours for a solution and may move to another base.

Omar Artan, who was set to be the first Somalian to referee at the World Cup finals, has been dropped from the list of officials after he was denied entry to the United States.

FIFA confirms Somali referee Omar Abdulkadir Artan will be unable to officiate at the World Cup after he was denied entry into the United States.
FIFA says was “informed by authorities that Mr Artan’s status will not be changed at present” & is host country who determines visas
No country should be allowed to host the World Cup while imposing discriminatory rules on qualified and participating teams.
This ought to be a very basic requirement.
Ireland effectively being forced into surrendering home advantage in a competitive game because UEFA have decided fairness doesn’t matter when it comes to Israel.
Pitiful response. Granted the FAI should never have been put in this position by UEFA but now it's time for Ireland to take the lead as we did with Apartheid South Africa. Switching venue gives the babykillers an advantage. Just do what the Irish public and players want: BOYCOTT!
Neutral venue of … drum roll … Hungary ..WTF🤷♂️🤷♂️.. the FAI are weak and should be putting this back on the government to make a decisive decision and statement that we should not be playing any game against Isreal no matter the jurisdiction
The Republic of Ireland's home Nations League fixture with Israel will be moved to a neutral venue, RTÉ Sport understands, pending UEFA approval.
