@NirvanaM1nd Personally favor the idea of him just dressing for the task at hand. The darker outfit to to scare criminals. The lighter one to not scare kids. It just A seems a rather Bat's way of looking at it, and B has the benefit of... basically being the OOU reason for the two styles.😅

Personally I cope by just ignoring canon, and head canoning them telepathicly based, so as to just put their fictionally directly into the users head.

One of the weirdest feeling effects of the IRL time period Wheel of Time was written in, is just that the single most common ter’angreal in the AoL were… dumb phones. It’s just… 😅🤷‍♂️😂

On a vaguely related note, one of the more basic areas in which I tend to just ignore an event from the later books, is just head canoning Nicola still being alive.

All that development, wasted on a random casualty. Not like her death even really amounted to much story-wise.🤷‍♂️
