Who are you pulling for in the Finals?
Its got to be Knicks for me. They've never won a ring in my lifetime and guys like @Tjonesonthenba & @MarshallGreen_ deserve it after the years of Hell that team has put them through.
The top four picks in the 2026 NBA Draft are viewed as near-locks by many executives:
Wizards: AJ Dybantsa
Jazz: Darryn Peterson
Grizzlies: Cam Boozer
Bulls: Caleb Wilson
Unless a shocking trade comes out of nowhere in the next three weeks, the draft truly begins at No. 5.
Its inevitable as more time passes in the draft process, people are going to talk themselves into all sorts of takes on who's going #1. Its human nature.
That being said, AJ going to the Wizards is still the most likely outcome for so many reasons. Occam's razor and all that.
Every day I see tweets from Wizards fans who are convinced they are going to fleece the Jazz. And immediately after I post about how nonsense it is, my mentions get flooded with either "wE hAvE tHe LeVeRAge" comments or some word salad about how no Wizards fans REALLY believe the Jazz will trade up for him.
Rinse. Repeat.
@Dat2UReturns UTA will overpay for AJ.
They’ve literally already invested millions into him and his family.
The package the Wizards can get for that pick may prove even more valuable than DP.
Do the deal. Get the assets.
The only thing cornier than watching the constant foul baiting and flopping in today's NBA are the people trying to convince you that none of it matters, its not important, its not what your eyes tell you it is, its always been a thing, that its fabricated for clicks, etc.
we really got Spurs-Thunder in the WCF and it went 7. as hoops fans, from an objective standpoint, this was the dream, right? we had an absolute classic G1, and it's been a back-and-forth, ultra-physical chess match ever since. and here we are: Wemby and his squad vs. Shai and the defending champs on a Saturday night playing for everything. it really doesn't get any better.
shoutout to everyone who had a hand in taking the shine off this series, forcing the focus to what it's been the last week-plus. the big aggregator accounts. the engagement farmers. the twitter algorithm. so much of the national media. that gambling company. the guy who compiled that original viral video of Shai falling five times in one game. and of course Fall% Tom, for his groundbreaking work in bringing to life what will surely prove a revolutionary basketball metric.
congrats on the engagement, y'all!
in all seriousness, though, I rest assured in knowing the real ones have enjoyed this. and I sincerely hope everyone can enjoy the game tonight. these don't come around very often!
A bunch of REALLY good intel on Darryn Peterson by @shre98 . He spoke to a source close to Peterson who said he was never fully healthy last season. Which is crazy considering he still had one of the best seasons ever for a freshman guard 🤯

There is a “very high likelihood” AJ Brown will be traded to the #Patriots next week with framework for a deal already set, per @AlbertBreer.
“My understanding is the framework is in place for a trade to be made early next week that’ll make AJ Brown a Patriot.”

@Waynesworld90@shre98 I think the teams will have access to info that will shed more light on that but we may never see it. If it's a legit risk, you'll likely see teams pass on him at the top of the draft.
I don't think that's going to happen though.
Darryn Peterson plans to only conduct private pre-draft workouts/visits with the Wizards and Jazz.
Peterson is widely viewed as the No. 2 overall prospect in the 2026 NBA Draft behind AJ Dybantsa.
Fan of team who just picked 3rd, 4th, 3rd and 2nd by tanking their asses off from 2020 to 2023, suddenly has conveniently selective memory and is DEEP in his feelings about tanking. Lol 🤡
the Utah Jazz will forever be at the top of my hate watch list for tanking in such a radical way that teams who are actually in need of top talent are going to get punished
