The Muslim Boy Who Listened To Mass Through A Church Window Is Now A Priest.

Have you heard about Fr. Majdi Allawi?
As a boy, he wasn't allowed to attend catechism, so he found another way, he started by cleaning classrooms just to hide under the desks and hear about Jesus.

Years later, the boy who listened from under the desks would stand at the Altar as a Maronite Catholic Priest.

Majdi Allawi grew up in a devout Shia Muslim family in Lebanon, but he went to a Maronite Catholic school.
Though he wasn't allowed to sit in on the catechism classes, by hiding under the desks he was able to listen to the lessons about Jesus.
The more he heard, the more curious he got. He started reading the Bible and going to Mass.

By 11, he wanted to be Baptized, and his parents were not on board.
At one point he left home and spent nights on the beach, walk to a little Church in Jbeil and listen to Mass through a window from outside.
Eventually his parents let him be Baptized.

Even then, he had to wait three more years to receive his First Communion, watching everyone else go up to the Altar while he stayed behind.
He finally received it at 14.

He faced a lot of criticism for becoming Catholic, but he stuck with it.
Then, on April 10, 2005, he was Ordained a Maronite Priest; the kid who once listened to Mass from outside a window now stands at the Altar.

He's said it himself: "I met Jesus when I was a little Muslim boy, sitting in at Mass."

It's a reminder that God can start drawing someone long before they know where they're headed.
A small bit of curiosity can grow into a hunger for truth, and eventually into a whole vocation.

El procedimiento de la eutanasia lo comenzaron mientras la nieta estaba de viaje y sin su conocimiento y consentimiento. La anciana fue sometida a una seria de preguntas que no entendía, ni siquiera sabía qué tipo de procedimiento iban a aplicarle...
El 5% de las muertes totales en Canadá son por eutanasia, el nivel más alto del mundo.
