Please pull over when you *hear* an ambulance. Ask your cab driver to pull over if you're in an Uber.
Only then will ambulances not get stuck in signals.

Been slogging for weeks. Was fighting fatigue to attend a meeting with a customer at night.

Towards the end of the meeting, a guy who was curt and fast throughout says in his monotone he's excited seeing what we're building.

-Maintaining ownership of a module, even if it overlaps with a different PM's AOR. Creating and maintaining a good relationship with them.

This stuff is sometimes exhausting. But loadsa fun ^^ <3

I thought PM wins were about launching a feature, hearing positive feedback on the feature, etc.
What I'm realizing are equally satisfying wins.

-Making a case for a feature quarter after quarter and managing to get it on the roadmap. ( feels like 90% of the job is done)

-Navigating a meeting with a dozen people with different goals and concluding it in a way favourable to the primary goal.

-Building trust with devs and designers month after month. As a bonus- getting things done faster, circumventing processes/escalations, having a friend :')

Feels like a huge milestone-

Started an email thread that got BU heads, VPs etc. looped in later. Subj has the word "descrepency"

Realized the blunder now. Literally laughed out loud. 😂

A few years back I may have cried. Bless confidence-boosting affirmations :D
