@VanadiumSv12@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch The Mimic can’t just use purple because it’s never been shown doing so. Purple is an the in-game color associated with William, while the Mimic consistently uses orange. At this point, claiming the Mimic can use purple is basically breaking the color identity the game has made.
@2_teoriak@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch Purple is still strongly associated with William, while Michael is represented by a much darker purple. Burntrap and Glitchtrap both use a bright purple that more closely matches William’s established color association.
@2_teoriak@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch You could also argue that Scott making Glitchtrap a skin for William in DBD was intentional, especially since he made that decision himself.
@VanadiumSv12@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch Even in Ruin, when the Mimic is controlling Helpi, Helpi’s eyes are orange. By then, the Mimic should have fully adopted William’s persona if I take what you're saying is true, yet it still doesn’t use the colors associated with Glitchtrap or Burntrap.
@VanadiumSv12@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch Even when the Mimic is controlling something, the eyes are consistently orange. Meanwhile, whenever Glitchtrap or Burntrap is in control, the eyes are purple. Scott clearly made that distinction for a reason.
@2_teoriak@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch It does matter because Glitchtrap’s eyes glow purple, and purple in the FNaF universe is strongly associated with William or Michael. So the fact that the Mimic consistently has orange eyes is important when distinguishing them.
@mooka25774177@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch If that were the case, the Mimic in SOTM should have changed its eyes to purple, and so should the Ruin Mimic. But neither ever does, which further supports that the Mimic isn’t Glitchtrap or Burntrap.
@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch That’s true, but the Mimic has never been shown with purple eyes or even shown to be capable of changing them to purple. Besides, if its eyes were purple, that would imply it was under William's control or he had something to do with it, since that’s what purple represent.
@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch Glitchtrap is a digital virus, and if the Mimic were Glitchtrap, his eyes would be 100% orange, just like the Trash Bots in SOTM and Helpi. But they aren’t, so the Mimic isn’t Glitchtrap nor Burntrap.
@Starbear_ent@TTVStarzwitch The Mimic and Glitchtrap are two separate characters, and the same goes for Burntrap. Glitchtrap’s eyes glow purple, just like Burntrap’s, while the Mimic’s eyes glow orange regardless of what it uses. So no, the Mimic isn’t Glitchtrap nor Burntrap.
@FreddyPlushBear@THATBUMIHATE@FNAFtwtconfess Movie William might lose, but Game William wins. Plus, Movie William has help from the animatronics, which gives him an bit of a advantage but maybe not alot.
