The series of posts urge supporters to take advantage of conditions in which wildfires are particularly dangerous & emergency services may already be under significant pressure.

It also contains extensive instructions intended to help an attacker avoid surveillance, conceal their identity and movements and frustrate attempts by forensic investigators to establish who started a fire

The government is about to introduce a VAT to try to keep up with the national debt.

Everyone finally admits the debt is a crisis. Now watch the "solution" arrive.

It's called a VAT. A value-added tax. Every country in Europe has one. Nobody in Washington is telling you what actually happens once it lands here.

Start at 5%. That's the number the CBO always leads with. Sounds reasonable. Sounds temporary.

It never stays at 5%. Not once. Not anywhere.

Every developed country that adopted a VAT eventually pushed it higher. Push it to 18% here and it generates $12.2 trillion over a decade.

That's not a typo. That's the entire play.

Here's what they won't say out loud: a VAT was never designed to close the deficit. It was designed to make the government permanently bigger.

Revenue in America has capped out around 18% of GDP for seventy years, no matter how lawmakers shuffle the tax code. Europe sits near 30%. The whole point of a VAT is the jump from one number to the other. Permanently.

And Congress has never once matched spending to the money it already collects.

So ask the only question that matters: if they can't control spending on the revenue they have now, why would anyone believe they'll behave once you've handed them a brand new river of cash?

They won't cut the deficit.

They'll just have a bigger government to not pay for.

This isn't a revenue problem. It never was.

It's a spending problem wearing a tax disguise, and they're coming for your grocery receipt to fund it.
