It certainly is more than it was a few months ago.

Prior to Doerkson becoming the leader, there were no Liberals in the BC Conservative Party.

There are a few now, including Christy, which should hopefully have a positive effect on the party.

I still believe that a separate Carney-style Liberal Party would be good for everyone in the province. I also believe that we need some form of electoral reform to stop the “need” for people to coalesce around two main choices.

I have been an active Liberal for over 40 years federally, provincially (and, more recently, municipally) in good times and in bad times and I am not a fan of polarization.

With no Liberal brand on the ballot at this time, we are in uncharted territory. We don’t know how long this will be the case.
