2011 rendering of rail on the Beltline, crossing Memorial Drive. On the lower right is a former rail depot currently occupied by the restaurant Muchacho, the owner of which is, ironically, a vocal opponent of rail.
Don't let them gaslight you. Rail has always been the plan.

As I'm doing my dive into the candidates, and each year I start looking for new red flags, I'm shocked by how many of our elected officials proudly boast that they went to Mays or Washington or Grady to promote their ATL bonafides... and send their kids to private schools.
Another @ajcprr done, another year desperately wishing there was Beltline rail to help handle the thousands and thousands of people finishing, rather than making people walk allllll the way up the hill to Midtown station.
LET'S SEE THOSE FLAGS OUT, ATL 🚩
Like, RT and send us a photo of your #ATLUTD flags on display for a chance to win two seats in our Maybach On-Field Terrace for this Saturday's match 🤩
Looks nice, right? Too bad it's illegal to build in most American cities:
- Violates parking mandates
- Violates single-stair building codes
- Violates minimum setback zoning laws
- Violates exclusionary zoning laws
- Violates minimum Floor Area Ratio requirements
Feeling lucky ? ☘️
We're giving away a limited-edition St. Patrick’s Day scarf to one lucky fan! All you have to do is Like, RT & comment 🍀 to win!
This is the intersection of Matthews and White street. The @AtlantaBeltline crosses this intersection. As you can see, the crosswalk is pretty faded. So is this crosswalk "active"? /1 🧵
