@oliverburdick I would say this a bit clear. There is no biblical case to support the modern state of Israel based on them being God‘s people or that when you see the word Israel in the Bible has anything to do with Israel today Israel. Israel does not contain God‘s people, its a secular state

Proof of work was invented to discourage spam. Email spam happened because it was cheap to send out infinite messages for the one in 1 million chance of a gain. Making a message have cost reduced the incentive it never got rid of spam altogether.
