Propfirms let people gamble with ridiculous leverage, and they payout lots of money to these hedgers and gamblers. And allow losers to make a 10% return in one day. They will come to the conclusion that they need to limit the leverage to get rid of all those unprofitable traders.

You can lose 9 accounts, and make only on one account 2 payouts of 5% with 80% payout. So that's 2 x $10K x 0.8 = $16000. Total costs = $10000. Total revenue = $16000. Profit = $6000.
