@KatenCheyenne@RealCraber@JakeSucky The problem with your statement is you presume Logan is telling the absolute truth here.
Of course I'd prefer animals to be rehomed safely and correctly above all else - but considering his history and disregard for anyone but himself, this narrative doesn't fit his character
@RealCraber@JakeSucky Because the idea of Logan abandoning pearl or selling her off to anyone just because she's became inconvenient is more believe than this email
Now that the dust has settled on the launch…
Thank you so much to everyone who has picked up the game already!

@phoebe_matich @BRKeogh So the result is far fewer people might engage or experience your creation as a result. And so I think that has to be factored in, especially when the effort to make a game imo, is much higher than other forms of art
@phoebe_matich @BRKeogh I think there are already lots of spaces where games are made purely for artistic expression or for niche communities/events.
'Game jams' are a pretty clear example of this.
Its more that the cost for someone to engage with a game is greater than a song or a photo
@phoebe_matich @BRKeogh There is a lot of thought here, as I did attempt to start my games career as a side gig... a lot of indies do.
But I have kind of resigned myself to thinking, making MY own games and making games commercially may not be one in the same.
@phoebe_matich @BRKeogh I'll have to catch this talk when I go to gcap.
I think the question then becomes "what is the goal for this game" if you're doing it as a side.
If for its own sake of make art, cool, but that also means setting expectations low for when you 'finish'
