The Hargraves Public School had a special visitor yesterday when a #NSWRFS helicopter, which was battling fires nearby, landed next door to refuel. The small school of 25 children spoke with the pilot, were given a tour of the helicopter and shown how the water bucket works.

@VRArescue and @NSWRFS working together: a boat from Dubbo area en-route to assist with Fire Protection around Menindee, which is expecting significant flooding and property isolations. The VRA boat will help firefighters access isolated properties in the event of a fire.
