The rise of the T’au in 40k is interesting to me because a civilization that would’ve been swept aside during the Great Crusade now stands as a rising galactic power.
They are the literal proof of humanity’s decay. It’s so tragic in a way but I enjoy the stories about it.
This is true. People were very chill. You could get chicken nuggets shaped like dinosaurs. Folks would feed you peas on a little spoon while making airplane noises. You could even dump a whole bowl of spaghetti on your head if you wanted. Totally fine. Not sure what happened.

To all those who berated me on this platform for doubting that Trump cared about the human rights or democratic aspirations of the Iranian people, I accept your apology.
On this Feast of the Sacred Heart, it is worth remembering one of the most remarkable Catholic churches in the South Asian subcontinent.
Hidden away in the beautiful village of Idaikattur in Tamil Nadu stands the magnificent Sacred Heart Shrine, built in 1894 by the French Jesuit Fr. Ferdinand Celle. Inspired by the great Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Reims in France, its soaring Gothic arches, stained glass, statues imported from France, and 153 angel figures make it seem as though a piece of rural France was lovingly transplanted into the Tamil countryside.
And the story only gets better: this Gothic masterpiece in a remote Tamil village was built with the support of a Protestant woman who converted to the Catholic faith and became one of its principal benefactors.
More than a century later, this beautiful shrine remains a testament to the universality of the Catholic faith, where French Gothic inspiration, Tamil craftsmanship, and devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus meet under one roof.

There are people on this website who will argue in all sincerity that a, perhaps the, major problem with university humanities departments is that this perspective is underrepresented.
