@JonathanTurley No. It speaks wholly to California law, which allows ballots postmarked by election day to be counted. Maybe the S.Ct will soon rule that illegal, and maybe it should be, but there's nothing nefarious or evidencing poor government performance.

A statement designed for universal application. They could have said "Americans" or "Christians" or could have made reference to Christian ideas of divinity.

@JonathanTurley The problem isn't disallowing racial gerrymanders, the problem is allowing political ones. If you just got rid of the ladder, districts likely would be minority- majority because you would keep districts geographically sensical.

@JonathanTurley The Court is and always has been a political branch as Michael Klarman has shown. To pretend otherwise is dangerous because it results in greater power given to decisions than should be.
