The "Yagi" Misnomer ?

Most people call it the “Yagi antenna.”
But here’s the real story of the Yagi-Uda antenna! why the man who invented it is rarely credited?

Shintaro Uda, designed a directional antenna with parasitic elements, a breakthrough in radio tech. He published it in Japanese, limiting global recognition.

Hidetsugu Yagi, wrote an English paper and filed international patents.
This helped the design reach the West, especially during WWII for radar & comms.
