Apple spent 7 years and $3,500 per unit developing the Vision Pro. This guy made something better with a simple webcam from his bedroom.

And no, this isn't a render. It's running in real time on his laptop right now, with a webcam pointed straight at his hands.

The camera tracks 21 points on each of your hands in real time: every fingertip, every knuckle, and every joint, all mapped onto a 3D skeleton at 60 frames per second.

A piece of digital silk is linked to that skeleton. When you open your palm, the fabric drapes over your fingers. When you close your hand, it crumples into your fist. When you tilt your wrist, the fabric slides and folds using real physics, while light bounces off it like it's actual material.

You can grab it, stretch it, toss it, and catch it, all using just your hands and without wearing any device.

No headset.
No gloves.
No $3,500 computer strapped to your face.
No 600-gram brick on your head.
No battery that lasts 2 hours.
No Apple ID.
No App Store.

Just a webcam, TouchDesigner, and a guy who watched the Vision Pro keynote and thought:

"I can do that for free."

Apple has 3,000 engineers, $200 billion in cash, and 7 years of development. They built a face computer that most people will probably never own.

This guy had a laptop, a webcam, and a weekend.

And he built a future that most people could actually use.

That's what happens when you stop waiting for permission and just start building.

Comme je l'ai dit et répéter, la victoire de la prochaine génération est entre vos mains actuellement. Playstation vient de commettre leur pire décision de l'histoire des jeux vidéo. C'est le moment ou jamais d'en profiter.

Je vois beaucoup dire "ouais la Playstation 6 se vendra n'empêche", et moi je vous donne juste l'exemple de la transition PS2/PS3 qui je rappelle est la console la plus vendue de l'histoire. Et ça n'a pas empêché la PS3 de traîner sévèrement face à la 360 à cause de leur arrogance.

XBOX a pratiquement tout pour la prochaine génération : les studios qu'il faut, les jeux qu'il faut, le hardware qu'il faut, le Gamepass, le cloud, le PlayAnywhere et maintenant la conversion disc to digital. Ils ont absolument toutes les cartes en leur possession.

C'est exactement le même scénario qui se déroule sous nos yeux. Reste à savoir si @asha_shar prendra l'avantage ou pas.

Digamos que eres dueño de un Xbox Series S…vas a Walmart y ves una increíble oferta de un videojuego físico de Xbox Series X, pero pues evidentemente tu consola no lo puede leer porque no tienes lector de discos… pues bueno, lo podrás comprar e insertar en tu Xbox One antiguo y aunque tu Xbox One no lo podrá ejecutar… si te podrá dar la licencia y así lo podrás jugar en tu Xbox Series S. En otras palabras, tu vieja consola Xbox One se convertirá en el puente para digitalizar parte de tu colección física. Xbox se está preparando para ganar la próxima generación. Solo imaginen que algún día activen la función con los juegos de Xbox 360, sería una completa locura.
