“Have the courage to see it clearly. Have the faith to keep going anyway.”
A powerful read from @sahilbloom on how to navigate hard times. https://t.co/Z0qoPFZuyu
I love the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis and every year, when the days are short and the cold hits, I think about this quote. So thankful for a celebration of light and life when the weather is dark and bleak. #ChroniclesofNarnia
Dear Boss,
I think I need to go home today. Outside it is rainy, dreary, and peoply, but at home I have Christmas lights, coffee, and books. I will try again tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Me 😊
I was reminded this week that a step of faith doesn’t have to be big. It can be as small as a shift of the body to go in a different direction and as simple as a sidestep to gain new perspective. It doesn’t matter how you feel about your faith - they all count. #justdosomething
@MattWalshBlog She is 💯 right. When an action becomes obligatory it is no longer an act of kindness, but part of a job description, which would make it work.
I took these pictures last week and can’t stop thinking about this picture in particular. The window, offset from the sky, still clearly and in great detail reflects the sunset. I find myself asking what am I reflecting and what is being reflected off of me? #picturepondering
Wisteria grows wild along the roads here in North Carolina. I recently learned that it isn’t the same plant you buy at a nursery and it is considered invasive. But, it is still beautiful and I look forward to seeing every spring. #wildwisteria
Me to my husband: I have an idea for another story.
Him: Is there a sniper in it?
Me: Why would there be a sniper in it?
Him: Because, all the good stories have a sniper in them - you need a sniper.
Me: No, there is no sniper - the best I can do is a rotten ex-husband.
🙄😂🤣
New year, new dreams - or perhaps we revisit some old dreams that are still near and dear to our hearts. Maybe, we do both! Whatever you choose, just keep dreaming. #dreamingin2024
I have been wrestling with a lack of direction, feeling like I am going in circles - so frustrating! For all of us in that place I wish for light to see the next step, openness to unexpected directions, and confidence in the beauty ahead. #mygrownupChristmaslist
