@AskAnnette47650@Rainmaker1973 GOOD. Its completely useless in the modern age. If you think it isn't you likely have a limited understanding of technology.
@processor555612@Rainmaker1973 You don't need to understand either to be able to completely function in today's society. Do you still expect average people to understand how to use a rotary phone too? Morse code? Latin ? Just because you're old doesn't mean you understand the issues.
@SAJordan20@Rainmaker1973 No one should be a teacher for 30 years. You were teaching irrelevant and outdated experiences for at least the last 10 years. The reason this is such an issue is lazy and uneducated teachers being left to run things with the public's trust. You were part of the problem.
@TheGriffinCash@Rainmaker1973 Exactly dude, this comment section is just full of Boomers playing Chicken Little. They spend years pushing government policies that made kids less educated out of suicidal empathy. Now we are seeing the product of their laziness and their childrens indifference.
@AaronSh82857052@Rainmaker1973 Yes? You use a computer. That's how it was when I was there. I knew how to write in cursive, never once thought of using it over freehand or typing. Its slow.
@MayRemagh@Rainmaker1973 That's the Education system and parents not Tech. No child left behind and standardized testing killed any real efforts to educate kids and made it about passing rates. They fake numbers so they keep getting funded. Keeping failures in school only hurts those there to learn.
@MCELIE1952@PaychicTherapy@Rainmaker1973 Yes... Right round the same time it became unneeded. Cursive makes it much harder to read notes or documents not written in your own hand. Its inefficient compared to typing speeds, hence why you'd need to learn silly short hard to keep up in college. This is easy to understand.
@PaychicTherapy@Rainmaker1973 Because it's completely unnecessary at this point. Its like being surprised most kids aren't learning Latin in school anymore. Its not 1965 anymore.
@JeffreyOue2299@Rainmaker1973 Jeff this is something no one under the age of 50 agrees with. At the very most you need to be able to sign your name, even that isn't required to be signed legibly. I've never written in cursive since school and not once as it made a difference.
@WitchessUnite46@Rainmaker1973 No dummy it's due to standardized testing and no child left behind policies. The Department of Ed created this, not technology. I have two sons in public school, one is studying Mandarin the other is going to college for accounting. This is an issue of a bad educational system.
@rshereme So upset by a name of a unit used by the Nazis and Russia... Sounds like shit Zelensky is currently fighting against. You people in poland are truly dumb in geopolitics
@Tarayesabz@IranIntl_En It makes sense you wouldn't understand, proudly wearing the idiot flag. One is a way bigger issue to the world than the other. Human rights in Muslim run countries don't exist, so why would anyone dictate policy on it. Its a great talking point but they have to stop being Muslim.
