@neokamalism @2stupid2idoit Although they support such policies, the LDS works hand in hand with their state legislature to ensure they’re excluded from policies that support LGBTQ protections and anti-discrimination laws. So although they help pass these bills, they don’t have to abide by them.

@neokamalism @2stupid2idoit Utah may be a red state but the LDS supports and helps pass progressive policies because they know they’re a dying religion and they need to do everything they can to pander to a younger demographic. They’re kind of an anomaly among red states.
