@Shamed_Vulture Thats not true at all. Its very common in smaller towns all around the country. There is still a lot of manufacturing here, just not like it was.
Pick nearly any small town at random in the usa and you will find a manufacterer or 2.

@AJiazhang the majority of industrial refrigeration systems run on ammonia as well. If NH3 becomes scarce it will cause other problems.
Dunno how much anhydrous ammonia is used in refrigeration vs land applied.
C02 is a big input for animal ag, and is reliant on ethanol for supplies.
