Nobody ever tells corporations to pay enough to survive? Really? That's all the government does is tell all businesses to pay. Pay numerous taxes, for regulations that add very little or no value, skyrocketing insurance & premiums & that's before they make any money...the more government is involved the worse things get & all you can do is point the finger at people trying to make a living just like you with the weight of the federal & state governments on their back...& If they fail now they have debt, the livelihoods of their employees & their future in the balance. I'm not a boomer, I'm Gen X & have lost more crappy jobs than most & I'm not whining about it... figure it out like the rest of us and realize no one owes you anything. I taught my kids this and if I ever heard them say the things you posted I'd be disappointed...life is hard, now what? It's hard for all of us. My grandparents survived the Depression and WW2 never once did they think they were owed a thing. Either work hard or go to where socialism is favored but don't expect me or my kids to pay for you. If you are tough you'll survive, otherwise you may not...that's how it's always been. If it just now occurred to you then your parents didn't prepare you for life and that ain't on me or any random boomer. You can do it, get after it and work. Control your spending and save your money. If you focus on the negative those are the results you will get.
@DissentFu Bragging about your lack of success is an interesting flex but it's a free country. I've found that folks have 2 options when it comes to accountability, option 1 they are introspective & course correct where they messed up, or option 2 blame someone else. Most take option 2.
Well-written & said. I often tell people, usually younger than me, that when I was in grade school there was a poster in the hall of Dr. MLK Jr's "I Have A Dream" speech & I read it several times but never really understood why it was a big deal because it just seemed like common sense...why wouldn't we treat people fairly based on their character? Treating people differently for any other reason didn't make sense to my young Gen X brain...still doesn't 45 or so years later. It occurs to me that the left has always used division to attain power & I suspect this is what is happening now & instead of rich vs poor like Lenin, Mao & Castro preached it's racial division that seems to be gaining traction in this country. Well, I won't change...I will still judge people by the content of their character & not the color of their skin. That doesn't make me a racist, it makes me a God fearing American who cares about his country & fellow citizens. Thanks for the article, I look forward to your next one.
If that a real posting from him, that's epic. He now has the option of being an outsider & constantly stirring the pot & pointing out misdeeds for 4 years...he's going to be a target because leftists don't take criticism or disagreement well. He has time to set an agenda now & run on it.
That actually went better than I expected, sometimes bulls feel the need to unalive you once they're irritated & come back around for another pass. Physics dictates given their size & strength one should avoid confrontation with bulls, but I grew up in the sticks & that's just common sense.
@JohnCornyn Sir, all the American people wanted was to be represented by their elected politicians & you repeatedly failed to do this, so we'll find someone else to do the job you couldn't or wouldn't. If anyone was a grifter in this scenario it wasn't @ScottPresler, it may very well be you
California apparently doesn't care about "counting ALL the ballots" as the Dems swear is the reason behind the delays in announcing results. https://t.co/oUHTEXE07k
