So, my wife has had a tough year. She put her life on hold to fight breast cancer. A battle she has hopefully now won. Yesterday she sat down to paint, the first time in 12 months. This was the result 🙌🙌🙌 #seamillbeach
Angus Kerr was a friend, mentor and one of the reasons I am at BDP today. It was therefore a great honour to assist @heraldscotland with his obituary.
My thoughts continue to be with his family.
I’m very sorry to hear that #Glasgow architect Angus Kerr - who played a major role in the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum’s New Century Project - has passed away. My condolences to his family.
I served on the Glasgow Urban Design Panel with Angus for a long time and he was always charming with the occasional self-deprecating story at his expense.
I don’t know who wrote it but there is a lovely obituary about him in @heraldscotland which is definitely worth a read 👀👇

Pearls are made by @Scotrail carriages as a natural defence against an irritant such as a parasite or grit.
The carriage slowly secretes layers of aragonite and conchiolin. This creates a material called nacre, which encases the irritant and protects the carriage from it.
Hey @RailwayGreat why are there not more carriages on the Paddington 1933 to Swindon?Standing room only, totally rammed, and I can hardly ask the lady in my reserved seat to move. Too busy for passengers to get on at Didcot Parkway
Hi @AvantiWestCoast . I have started a delay repay claim for my heavily delayed journey from Wigan to Glasgow yesterday. Arrived Glasgow 3am. My ticket was to West Kilbride. I was told to keep receipt for taxi but am unsure how to submit it. Can you assist please?
BDP secures its standing as a major #global#architectural player, ranking #23 in Building Design's #WA100 League Table. Climbing one spot from last year, BDP is the 2nd largest UK registered practice on the list, among only 16 UK firms featured.

BDP has taken the top spot on Urban Realm's #Top100Architects in Scotland, celebrating a successful year with highlights such as four awards for the Newmains and St Brigid’s Community Hub and prestigious recognition for Director, Lindsay Johnston. https://t.co/KQDlqPAY20
This year’s studio Christmas party mayhem included a #gingerbread house competition. Some thought I took it too far designing Santa and Rudolf’s new home (inspired by our “Project Dragonfly” on the Barclay’s Campus) with cantilevers and to #passivhaus standards! 😆
As usual the delivery of passivhaus all comes down to the quality of the build. In the 60-minutes we had, I think we did pretty well! What do you think?!
Merry Christmas🎅
