I need to remind people that it is OKAY to stop and breathe and celebrate the revenue loss. If you see people going “but it’s not enough” they have never been apart of an actual boycott. 2/3 loss of revenue, 80% drop of Domestic revenue, 57% drop in global, those are successful boycott numbers. Taking a breather and celebrating does NOT mean giving up. Any protest requires celebrating your wins that’s how you keep morale.

Denying that is just shame and “not good enough” mentality repackaged as motivation. People need to see and believe their efforts are enough. It’s demotivating during a time when we need to be celebrating the one good thing we’re seeing. Infold is delaying their content because of us. They are losing revenue because of us. Positive motivation is literally a much stronger force than saying “it’s not enough”. You’d think the trauma a bunch of us have from being burnt out kids from being pushed too hard etc. instead of positively encourage would have taught some chuckleheads this lesson it’s applicable here too.

So take a breather pat yourself on the back. Hold the line and press forward. Stop treating celebration as meaning giving up. Celebration is a critical tool to keep pushing forward.
