From the shop floor to the stars 🌠

This VIA Project component is taking shape right here on our floor and its final mission is far beyond it. Part of the structural backbone for next generation spectrographs, it will help scientists measure stellar motion with incredible accuracy and map the invisible dark matter holding our galaxy together.

When scientists are measuring motions smaller than a human walking pace across thousands of light years, precision machining is not optional. It is everything.

From raw material to cosmic instrumentation, this is high stakes machining for high stakes science.

Dynasty Fab was proud to welcome students from Macomb Community College’s M3 welding and CNC program into our shops to experience real manufacturing environments. Welding students spent time in our fabrication shop, where Owner and President Zach worked with students hands on, sharing insight and perspective from years in the trade. CNC students visited our machine shop, where Jim, our Machine Shop Manager, drew on his years of experience to walk students through our equipment, processes, and day‑to‑day machining operations.

We value our partnership with Macomb Community College and regularly work with graduates from these programs as they transition into the workforce. Building these connections helps strengthen our local manufacturing community and supports the next generation of skilled trades professionals.
