Want an example of an athlete's reported height being exaggerated?
Cardinals 1st Rounder, Trevor Condon, is listed @MLBPipeline as 5'11" (but not saying it' their fault).
@MLBNetwork then shares a video of Trevor answering pre-draft questions where he says he's 5'9".

@blaugranab30701 I haven't heard anyone "downplay" that header (or the height that Ronaldo reached). It was undoubtedly quite a play/feat then. The only "downplay" is that the "then" was quite awhile ago? No?
We were also way out in front on Ben Rice too. We had him at #13 when @MLBPipeline had him as the #13 Yankee prospect (6/2024) while @RotoWire had him @ #220.
We watched Ben multiple times @ Scranton & were sold!
So, picking these guys up in Dynasty leagues was easy!
Great to see Kyle Karros excelling. It wasn't long ago that we were out ahead of anyone else on him, ranking 23rd in our top 280 back in January 2025, a time when @MLBPipeline had him as Colorado's #18 prospect and Roto had him at #334 (in their top 400)

Prospect scouting, grading, ranking will undoubtedly have a lot of hit and misses. What we're proud of are guys we scout in person (like Karros), write about and rank highly, well before the "big boards" do and then "hit" on those prospects! But for every Karros, we have a Teodo
Of course, back then we were high on Tink Hence, Kristian Campbell, Coby Mayo, Matt Shaw, Painter &Teodo. And those haven't quite panned out. But other of our "out in front" hits did like: Jason Misiorowski (#21 when MLB had him down at #80), Cole Carrigg (#9), Henry Bolte (#29)
Welcome to Tacoma Michael Arroyo and Lazaro Montes!
The Mariners have promoted prospects Michael Arroyo and Lazaro Montes to the Rainiers and will make their Triple-A debuts tonight!

Seattle is about to make HISTORY. Tonight's USA vs. Belgium World Cup match is anticipated to be BIGGER than the city's Super Bowl celebration. (๐ธ @willtrogdon)
What QBs would we look at for the @packers ?
1. @49ers Josh Dobbs (he's unhappy & available)
2. Desmond Ridder (yes, he couldn't even make it as AZ' #2, but he'd better fit GB's off)
3. Joe Milton (way out there, sure, but the @Patriots #3 would make for an exciting few weeks)
Here was Jackson Holliday's 1st MLB home run for #Orioles -- a grand slam that he absolutely walloped.
439 feet, 109.2 mph exit velocity.
Wow. Absolutely incredible moment for @MLBPipeline's No. 1 overall prospect.
Joey Loperfido (acquired by Toronto) is a big power hitting 1B/OF who has been excellent in AAA this season
His results in the Majors hasn't translated well due to contact issues, but he has a knack for lifting the ball and making aggressive swing decisions.
@MLBPipeline @MFeinsand @CDeNicola13@JakeDRill Both Norby and Stowers have to be elated to have the opportunity to showcase their talents after being blocked in Baltimore. Sure, they'll be sad to leave the talent rich organization they "grew up in", but this opportunity in Miami should outweigh those feelings of separation.
@DMAC_LA Though K rate (or K/9), K/BB, FIP, SIERA are what we look at the most & Garrett Crochet is 1 or 2 or 6 in each of those.
We also love a high end FB -- & Crotchet is no slouch there either (sporting a high octane, 97 mph FB placing him in the 92nd %)
An SP worth the investment!
@DMAC_LA Crochet (GC) has been amazing, but he doesn't lead everywhere:
Chris Sale FIP 2.29 (1) [GC #2]
Tarik Skubal ERA 2.35 (1) [GC #19]
George Kirby K/BB 9.21 (1) [GC #6]
C. Sale HR/9 .23 (2) [GC #15]
L. Gilbert WHIP 0.90 (1) [GC #9]
L. Gilbert BABIP .235 (4) [GC #54]
