@air_sly The kind of personality I’ve seen is a principled man who holds people to their words. You didn’t expect him to be silent when the media had already created a narrative about him and his coach didn’t protect him.
He may have his excesses sometimes but I see a principled person.

[Jeed @Dzigdnuts]

Amongst all the coaches he’s played under, I’ve never heard any of them say such thing about his training sessions,
Interesting Ten Hag

[centredevils. @centredevils]

🚨🚨🎙️| Erik ten Hag says Cristiano Ronaldo pulled out of training sessions:

“I confronted him with this.

“Many times I say, ‘Ronnie, everyone wants to work for you to bring you in the right position, but if you can’t bring yourself in the box, you can’t score’.

“He was not capable to do this. It’s the wrong idea to put this to me that I expected him to do the pressing, that he’s exhausted. But he couldn’t. He ran neither in possession nor out of possession.

“The reason was because he didn’t prepare himself. Every top team has to embrace the top player, but the top player has to work for the team.

“He was telling the players, ‘Save your legs at the training’. I understand it when you are top fit; you have sessions, you can save the legs. But first you have to train yourself to get into the right fitness levels.”

@air_sly Even if what you’re saying is true, I wouldn’t like a coach who wouldn’t even defend me against the media, especially when he knew the personal reasons behind my absence from pre-season. I think he’s lying.

[Madrid Zone @theMadridZone]

🔙🗣️ Toni Kroos: “You should always strive to be the best version of yourself.

My favorite example is Cristiano Ronaldo.

Every time I WENT to training, his car was ALREADY there.

Every time I LEFT training, his car was STILL there.

What he achieved was because of incredible ambition and hard work.

What people see is that he scores a ton of goals and drives fast cars. I was his next-door neighbour, and I can say that he has a lot of fast cars. I also have one (laughs).”

It can’t be a coincidence that about 19 reports of sexual assault against one individual. This is absurd and strange.

[JoyNews @JoyNewsOnTV]

“He gave me oil and asked me to stroke his private parts. When I refused, he reminded me that he had locked me in and nobody knew I was in his bungalow, threatening that he could kill me and nobody would find out. He ejaculated four times before allowing me to leave.”

Victim B recounts her ordeal with the headmaster of Obuasi SHTS; again, school authorities failed to act even after she spoke up.

Arda Guler, what a player

🚨 Laporta: “Real Madrid wants to destroy everything, but fortunately for us, we have Tebas to stop them.”

[Jeed @Dzigdnuts]

@kofixerxes Nope. I’m only saying that the same action keeps getting treated differently depending on who’s involved I believe. Well as for that I leave it to Laliga refs association.

[Jeed @Dzigdnuts]

Not surprised at all
They’ve been waiting for some of these opportunities for long.

🚨💣 BREAKING: Vini Jr. is SUSPENDED for 4 MATCHES.

[Jeed @Dzigdnuts]

@kofixerxes same referee didn’t give a red to a player for a similar thing. Vini has also had his hair pulled before without a red card to opponent. not saying he doesn’t deserve it, but decisions must be fair. When it comes to Vini, we all know the rules seem to be applied differently.

[Jeed @Dzigdnuts]

@kofixerxes We all know this. Don’t pretend.

@kwame_bryt 😂😂

[Jeed @Dzigdnuts]

Not to justify but he’s suffered from some of the most absurd referee decisions in La liga. It is what it is

[Madrid Xtra @MadridXtra]

🚨💣 BREAKING: Vini Jr. will MISS EL CLÁSICO.

He will be out for MINIMUM 2 matches. @COPE

[Nobody @dharnyyoung]

If you've ever dealt with a deeply principled person before, this would sound very familiar. You'd think what they are losing their head over is trivial but nothing matters more than the very principle of that thing. And that's what's happening here. This is clearly someone who HATES being lied to under any circumstance.

[Victor @AtsuTamakloe]

But Ronaldo is not just any player.
He has earned the right to be treated with respect.
The kind of respect that reflects his contribution to the country and his status as the greatest to have done it.

[Jeed @Dzigdnuts]

That is why there’s no one like him
Don Carlo

[Fabrizio Romano @FabrizioRomano]

⚪️🇭🇷 Why zero minutes and not even warm up for Luka Modrić today?

Ancelotti: “I don't want Modrić to warm-up if I'm not sure that he will play. I respect him too much to do that”.

[Jeed @Dzigdnuts]

You got to be kidding me
