P.S. Big shout-out to @HolliePutnam and the @E5coral crew down at Gump Station last December for forcing me to celebrate... and making me open a bottle of champagne for the first time. If NSF saw this strugglefest first, they never would’ve entrusted me with a CAREER!
Shedd researcher, Dr. Shayle Matsuda, is in Hawai'i with colleagues @CoralResilience Lab at the Hawai'i Institute of Marine Biology. These coral fragments will be used to study dynamics of the coral microbiome in a restoration context.
Congrats to @laurahspencer @ksilli91 and @kubu4 for the new paper out today - "Epigenetic and Genetic Population Structure is Coupled in a Marine Invertebrate" in GBE - https://t.co/orKNtdNLRS
