This week in VN an interview about my new book Generatie Zelfvertrouwen (Generation Self-Confidence): why it is important and how we can give young people the tools to improve their mental health
@ESSB_Erasmus
Ik ben supertrots op mijn nieuwe boek "Generatie Zelfvertrouwen: De ontwikkeling van een gezond zelfbeeld bij jongeren" wat ik heb geschreven samen met Renske van der Cruijsen. Vanaf 2 oktober overal verkrijgbaar!
New paper from my lab by brilliant @yaratoenders, now out in HBM. In this paper she analyzed two longitudinal datasets and unraveled the dynamic relation between mood variability and RS brain connectivity in children and adolescents: https://t.co/uDbHHQkH8D
@SYNClabEUR
Together with @L_vanDrunen I wrote this review/perspectives paper on how neuroscience can inform theory on self-concept development (and vice versa): now out in Human Development: https://t.co/8bjq2aOOHg
Trots en verheugd zijn we met de voordracht van onze alumna Bedrijfskunde Carola Schouten @carolaschouten als burgemeester van Rotterdam. Proficiat! Foto: Mark Horn
I am always amazed by the creativity and resilience of youth. We studied young people’s involvement with climate change and collected their ‘take actions’. These were discussed with Minister of Climate @RobJetten last week.

New paper by my brilliant PhD student @L_vanDrunen who will defend her thesis next week 🌟. Read all about her work on genetic and environmental influences on brain development here👇
🚨💫 New DCN paper alert! I am delighted that our paper "Genetic and environmental influences on structural brain development from childhood to adolescence: A longitudinal twin study on cortical thickness, surface area, and subcortical volume" is out! 🧵👇https://t.co/qQS4kkgAYY

Today was a super special day, together with youth from vocational and university education we organized rounds table discussion on what -they- need for a better future with respect to well-being, trust and government support. Thanks to my amazing lab, our partners and #MINDUs
@EACrone, professor of Developmental Neuroscience in Society, has been appointed an international member of @theNASciences. This organization advises politicians and policymakers on social issues.
