I am going to be proposing a data center plan/permitting/construction moratorium for Colorado for one (1) year, if elected to the State House of Representatives beginning in January
We simply need to learn more about water, energy & land use, as well as the effects of low frequency noise, before we commit to building any of these. Let alone in HD 27: North @cityofarvada, @CityofGolden, and unincorporated @JeffcoColorado
Colorado parents are increasingly feeling shut out of decisions that directly affect their own kids.
From curriculum choices to school safety plans to how phones and social media are handled in the classroom, many families say they’re left on the sidelines.
At the same time, the cost of sports, activities, school supplies, and even basic lunches keeps rising, adding another layer of stress to already stretched budgets.
Parents aren’t asking for perfection. They just want a real seat at the table and schools that put kids and families first.
If you’re a Colorado parent who feels this pressure, you’re not alone.

Colorado promised pot taxes would fix schools. Revenue crashed 45%. Now a 2025 law quietly redirects what's left away from school construction anyway. Follow the money. @ShainaCole_
Thank you to Industrial Property Owners Consortium for letting me introduce myself today.
Highlands Ranch is a local race but with state-wide impact.
One party Democrat control has gotten us:
6th most regulated state
3rd most expensive
2nd most dangerous state
But the stats don’t matter if you forget it’s really the people that are hurting. People have to choose between their job, health, or home because of the unaffordable policies of Democrats. They are hurting real people.
We can change this in November. Check out https://t.co/nXISIEhF1x to learn more!

We've had major gang busts throughout Colorado including Denver and Colorado Springs. And just this year, ICE arrested Tren de Aragua member Yorvis Michel Carrascal Campo in Colorado Springs, a confirmed gang member wanted for murder and racketeering. https://t.co/4ddQyCmw8d

@repgabeevans We are a law enforcement household
My wife was questioning that civil asset forfeiture prevention laws could hurt enforcement and compensation to victims
Fair point
The law needs to be twice as good as the enforcement
Public safety and constitutional rights are not mutually exclusive.
As a former Sergeant and Lieutenant in the Denver metro area, I understood that enforcing the law meant following the law. That's why I asked Secretary Mullin how DHS is implementing a policy requiring judicial warrants before entering private homes.
We can target gang members, traffickers, and violent criminals while still respecting the constitutional protections every American deserves.

As a former police officer, this is an issue I take seriously.
As Secretary Mullin appears before the House Homeland Security Committee, one of the questions I'll be asking is how DHS is implementing policies to ensure immigration enforcement actions respect the constitutional rights of the American people.
We need to secure our border, remove dangerous criminals from our communities, and enforce our laws. But we must also uphold the Constitution and protect the Fourth Amendment rights that make our country worth defending in the first place.
