Day 5 – The Grand Finale of the Women Warriors Program
What a journey it has been!
On this final day of our Women Warriors Program, the room was filled with vibes, celebration, and joy
As we wrapped up, we celebrated our partner @UbuzimaHub, and the voices of our participants.
Day 4 of the Women Warriors Program w/ @UbuzimaHub
We heard real stories from Rwanda’s North & West (2023): lives lost, homes destroyed, but also resilience.
Calls for action: we need to raise more awareness, provide timely healthcare support, and strengthen collaboration.
Day 3 of the #WomenWarriorsProgram: We explored community resilience & storytelling
Women shared inspiring journeys, learned ethical storytelling guidelines, and discovered why stories matter in facing #ClimateChange & #MentalHealth challenges. Voices shaping hope
Day 2 Highlight – Women Warriors Program
With @UbuzimaHub , today we dove into psychological distress and Psychological First Aid (PFA).
We explored the three key principles of PFA:
🔹 Look
🔹 Listen
🔹 Link
Participants also learned how to recognize early signs of psychological distress and practiced supportive response strategies to help others during times of crisis.
