@tjbutcheer@UPS_UK He then started lecturing me about not asking if the driver had my parcel?! Third day waisted waiting for delivery that never happened!
Never ever use UPS, most unreliable company
@UPS_UK Absolutely shockingly horrible courier service! Twice the parcel delivery was re-scheduled for next day delivery. On the third day someone from the UPS warehouse called me twice asking if I had my parcel delivered, when the UPS driver was delivering the parcel to the neighbours.
@crawco To say Craword is negligent is to say nothing. Absolutely appalling service and they should be reported to the Ombudsman. Axa should be held accountable for choosing such useless loss adjusters.
@crawco my flat was only allocated hefty £3250+vat from one of the quotes and £4950 +vat with no detailed Schedule of work unlike to the flat above, that caused the damages in the first place to my flat, where the bedroom and the living room are fully intact.
@crawco original Rentokil report with the same drawings and instead of the quotes - the schedule of work filled in by the surveyor from Hallas & Co, where one of the quotes was miscalculated by £27200!!! But Andy Stace is only relying on such surveyor!!
Andy Stace couldn't explain why
@crawco dates has been given to me for the works to begin. I asked the surveyor from Hallas & Co to provide me with the alternative London Damp Company report and the quotes obtained from the building companies. Instead, I have been sent the report that looks like copy and paste from the
@crawco independent surveyor, damp specialist company and the building contractors. I also offered to supervise all the works in order to complete remedial work within three weeks but had support for such offer.
We are now in month 9 since I bought the property and not even approximate
@crawco for him to disclose the complaint procedure, only then he gave up and provided me with the email address (is this a normal procedure in Crawford & Company? )
8 month later with no remedial work at sight, I offered to one of the directors and to Andy Stace to obtain quotes from
@crawco which is not acceptable, and asked me what am I going to complain about? And only after I continued to insist that he was legally obliged to provide such information he told me to send my complaint to him so he will file it with the company.
I categorically refused and insisted
@crawco shouldn't even been allowed to be anywhere near the properties. It throws a shade at AXA Insurance, they should be careful with who they choose to represent them.
When asked for the Crawford complaint department details he at first refused, then he raised his tone
@crawco allocations of the funds.
When I insisted to provide explanation on what exactly his job was and his job description, he said that he was appointed by the insurer but failed to specify his role. His dismissive attitude was despicable. He proved to be incompetent, inept and
@crawco relying on the builders to provide the structural engineer's calculations and method of removal and reinstating the joists.
He couldn't explain how he arrived to the reserve amount of circa £60000 for remedial works and for making good in both flats nor for the reasons for
@crawco engineer to address the structure and that they have carried out a lot of similar structural work without structural engineer's report or recommendations. My flat and the one above are in the middle of the building with rotten structural joists and yet, he is accepting quotes and
@crawco myself and the managing agent and said that it was non of his business.
When I raised my concerns about the structural integrity of the ceiling and whole building and asked if the structural engineer was ever on the site, Andy Stace said that they don't need the structural
@crawco Also the hot water outlet of the basin was connected to the same pipe that is not allowed internally and if kept unchanged will result in another similar and potential water damage.
When I brought it to attention of Andy Stace, he abruptly suggested that it was a dispute between
@crawco surveyor in order to investigate with endoscopic camera equipment the cavity between my ceiling and the floor above where he noticed that the soil stack pipe had no 1 to 40 minimum requirement fall, what indeed caused a great deal of water damage to my flat.
@crawco Despite the fact that flat was uninhabitable, unsecured, structurally unstable with acro-props still in place and with 2 by 2 meter hole in the ceiling between two properties where you can clearly see flat above and had dry rot.
Furthermore, I had at my expense, to employ the
@crawco from Hallas & Co. appointed by crooked managing agent and the directors of the freeholding company.
When I asked to add to the claim my alternative accommodation, he replied that flat was big enough for me to live in and categorically refused such suggestion.
@crawco that included the treatment of affected brickwork and removal and reinstatement of rotten joists, by stating that the quote only included the timber treatment.
Andy Stace completely ignored my warnings and continued to solely rely on information provided by incompetent surveyor
