🚨BREAKING: Boston Mayor Michelle Wu is filing FOIA requests to identify private property owners who responded to ICE’s request to lease parking spaces.

ICE issued a public notice seeking roughly 249 parking spots in the Boston area for potential operations. In response, Wu announced that the city would submit Freedom of Information Act requests to learn which property owners expressed interest.

She has also contacted garage and lot owners directly, urging them to reject any deal with ICE and framing cooperation as an “unprovoked and unwarranted escalation.”

Critics argue the move is an attempt to pressure and expose private citizens and businesses for engaging in legal transactions with a federal agency.

The Department of Homeland Security has called Wu’s actions “unhinged,” noting she has no authority to block private property owners from leasing to the federal government.

Sandy Hook teacher Kaitlin Roig-DeBellis heard gunfire and had seconds to make a decision.

Her students were only 6 and 7 years old.

She rushed all 15 children into a tiny classroom bathroom, squeezed them together, lifted the smallest ones up so everyone could fit, barricaded the door and told them:

Don’t talk.
Don’t cry.
Don’t answer anyone.

Then she told them she loved them.

Not because it was part of a lesson.

Because she didn’t know if those would be the last words they ever heard.

While unimaginable horror unfolded elsewhere in Sandy Hook, those babies stayed packed together in silence.

Then someone knocked.

She refused to open the door.

Kaitlin decided a knock wasn’t enough. She waited until rescuers actually unlocked the classroom before she let those children out.

And then came the moment that still gives me chills…

ALL 15 CHILDREN WALKED OUT ALIVE.

That day, 20 children and six educators were killed.

But 15 families got the phone call every parent was praying for:

“Your child is coming home.”

Years later, those children ran into Kaitlin’s arms at a reunion.

The last time they had been packed around her like that…

she was trying to keep them alive.

This time, they were old enough to understand exactly what their teacher had done for them.

And just think…

15 adults are walking this earth today because one terrified teacher refused to panic.
