A great day celebrating & showcasing the work that the Reading Committee & Mrs Jarman have undertaken to promote Reading for Pleasure with the @scottishbktrust topped off with a special visit from the inspiring & witty author @frankcottrell_b ๐ ๐ฅณ The children were captivated!
Convener of Education, Councillor Lynda Williamson, went along to Balmuildy Primary School when they welcomed Waterstones Childrenโs Laureate, Frank Cottrell-Boyce as part of his three-day literary visit.
@CParkNursery This looks like a fun way to explore different story characters! ๐คฉI wonder if they can find any books that the characters may have jumped out from?
During the Scottish Book Trustโs first ever Reading Schools Week, more than 120 pupils and staff from across East Dunbartonshire attended a Reading Schools Showcase event at Douglas Academy in Milngavie.

FLUENCY FRIDAY!
