Glad to see this finally published for all to see. I will never understand why it has taken so long. 12 hour delays were allowed to creep up and up paralysing departments which could not get new patients into cubicles. 12 hrs was / is a clear marker of system distress. @RCollEM
@BizSportCSR@MsBethanJ@joegavin92 I’m on call this weekend, I’ll be in the hospital. Come say hi. If you want to bring your 3023 heart surgery forward by a millennium.
So my plans to relax this Easter pre strike went out the window and went all cliche. 2 flat pack elements built, 9 holes of golf, one massive Sunday lunch, Easter baking and sooo much washing up. I need another long weekend. My next one is on call 😖
Come on you guys, we are severely underrating emergency medicine. Shift work sounds awesome. Want to buy a $20k bicycle for reasons? Pick up a few extra shifts. Want to take a few weeks off next month to jet ski on volcanoes in Iceland? Work extra shifts the month before.
MPs have had real terms pay rises for running the economy into the ground whilst giving their donors & cronies contracts & jobs worth millions of £££
Their salary as of 2022 is £84,144. They also get massive deductions and subsidies for bills, food, staff etc.
Why have the @Conservatives posted to me an application to vote by post and included a return envelope that is address to them and not the Returning Office at the council. Is this even legal?
I've said it before and I'll say it again:
If you're sending a patient to the ED, please don't tell them you're sending them for admission, CT scan, etc. You are sending them for evaluation. What that entails is up to me. Inappropriate expectations leads to much discontent.
