@JMRSNH@ethanol_san@TheSnidr Yeah Iโm using Colmesh for the terrain collision not for enemies though. Using the ray casting function colmesh has I can make the rocks you throw bounce off surfaces using the normal vector and also find out where the players feet should place themselves for each step
@ethanol_san I think @TheSnidr has created probably the best resources out there for GameMaker 3D. Definitely check out that stuff if you're thinking about trying 3D in GM.
@BYETOM2 Certain objects like the sign were drawn using sprite stacking but the player and enemies are circles and lines using procedural animation. This effect can be recreated in a real 3D game just by having the camera use an orthographic projection instead of a perspective one
@PursuingPixels Heck yeah, the remake has been on and off for a while now but I really should go back and finish it. I've been on a bit of a gamedev hiatus for some time now.

Made a game, Rave From The Grave, for the #NoticeMe game jam.
An endless retro arcade style game about preventing monsters from partying!

This year I made a promise to myself to remake or make sequels to some jam games I think have potential, so I'm starting this year off with a remake of my Ludum Dare 48 game Crash Pit.

Procedurally generated islands, I'm having a lot of fun generating new islands and finding ones that look neat :)
